Breeding is passion!
Being
a breeder is my hobby.
It began with cats, went on with hamsters, canaries
and parrots until 1974 when I bought my first whippet Woody dell´Enza bred by
Luca Consolini.
An unforgettable dog that is still present today in the genealogy
of my dogs and lots of Italian whippets.
He was a complete dog, Italian Champion
in 1976 and he had also the international racing license, a great runner and excellent
in coursing.
In 1975 I bought my first female, Simpathy dell’Enza, Junior
World Champion in 1978.
After two litters in 1978 I became a recognized (ENCI)
breeder with kennelname “Rivarco”.
I always aimed to select the race in the
right balance between power and elegance, united with morphological quality balanced
with the natural character traits.
For that reason I try to select the best
international reproducers and the best international bloodlines.
I would like
to particularly mention my homebred Ch.Rivarco First Lady (Two times European
Champion), her son Ch.Rivarco Classic Jazz (World Champion, British Champion,
Winner of C.C. al Cruftis) and the other World Champion dogs of her litters Ch.Rivarco
Operaprima, Picasso, Classic Crystal …and finally Ch.Rivarco Gazelle (Two times
World Champion and European Champion).
In 30 years many results have been
gained.
The Rivarco Kennel nowadays is known worldwide.
Our kennel won
for ten years the ENCI Breeder Trophy for the whole Sighthound group and the first
dog all breeds in 1998 and 2000.
P.s.
I also breed racehorses under the same name “Rivarco”. Until today our horses
won 125 races and two Grand Prix.
